The Beard in centerfield
The Yankees may have gotten Johnny Damon, but Boston will keep his beard.
The beard had all the talent anyway.

Coinkydinks
Yesterday, when I should have been out Christmas shopping, I sat down and watched Riding Giants. It was really good. I especially liked the bits about the Maverick's.
Today, Kottke, the man I steal a good portion of links from, rated the film 4.5 stars and linked to Jon Krakauer's Outside article about Mark Foo's death at Maverick's which was talked about and discussed in the movie.
I guess Jason was stuck inside watching movie's on Starz also.

Enough with the holes, how about a supply problem."I like the graphics," he said "But I'm not going to buy it, at least not today. I'm waiting until the new PlayStation comes out before deciding which to buy."
Which is exactly my philosophy. I'm waiting for the PS3.

Hangover links
The following links are culled from Kottke and Daring Fireball cause I have a hangover and don't want to think for myself.
Oh man, fuck Christmas.
Blue or Graphite?
My comment after voting for Blue: "When I switched to Graphite my motherboard fried and then my hard drive crashed. Coincidence? I think not."

Still haven't played the game. I feel so behind the times.

Depeche Mode Rock

I went to the second show, on December 8th (they don't have a poster for it). We were on the floor. They were the best seats I have ever had for a DM show. Great playlist. Tons of new stuff, great visuals, the displays kept popping up throughout the first few songs. I took a few pics with my camera phone but they all suck.
I really wish they were playing Boston so I could see them again. Might just have to travel to Europe and see them there.
Today, hopefully, my friends are getting another set of Nine Inch Nails tickets. So this will be 3 times in less than 12 months.
Update: We got General Admission tickets. Woo-hoo.

While some claim that they pose no threat to their property, others are completely ignorant to the existence of Aztecs altogether. Needless to say, these people are doing themselves and their families a great disservice..."
