Blah, blah, blah.
This summer is slowly going no where. I need to be on the beach. That will be soon, hopefully.
Keith got into the NYC marathon. I still think you have to be insane to run 26 miles. This is the route. Me I am just happy sitting around and reading. I think that I need some time away from the computer. Yes that is what I need, I need to go out. Not that I will. No will power you see.
Slightly irritated. My roommate Alexis was watching TV today and flicked by TRL, and Ministry was on. What the....? Seems like Lucifer should be skating about now.

Oh that Roll your own.... was a big flop.
I went back to Long Island last weekend, I'll be there again for most of July.
I don't know my mind has been a little blank whenever I have sat down to post anything. I just felt that I needed to get back into the hang of writing anything at all.
Oh well the spellchecker for blogger works.

Tommorow:
"ROLL YOUR OWN BLACKOUT
THE FIRST DAY OF SUMMER
JUNE 21, 2001 THURS EVE,
7-10pm worldwide, all time zones
As an alternative to George W. Bush's energy policies and lack of emphasis on efficiency, conservation and alternative fuels, there will be a voluntary rolling blackout on the first day of summer, June 21 at 7pm - 10pm in any time zone (this will roll it across the planet).
Its a simple protest and a symbolic act. Turn out your lights from 7pm-10pm on June 21. Unplug whatever you can unplug in your house. Light a candle to the Sungoddess, kiss and tell or not, take a stroll in the dark, invent ghost stories, anything that's not electronic - have fun in the dark.
Read the 1999 book "Natural Capitalism" by Hawken and Lovins to learn that conservation/high efficiency technologies already ARE on the-shelf.
If implemented these revolutionary ideas would pay themselves off within five years, after which we'd be pumping far less greenhouse gas into the air.
Forward this email as widely as possible, to your government representatives and environmental contacts. Let them know we want global education, participation and funding in conservation, efficiency and alternative fuel efforts -- and an end
to over-exploitation and misuse of the earth's resources.
Anyone knows that the Cheney-Bush team is blowing smoke when they tell us that "... conservation can't help, it'll just be too expensive
to implement those technologies..." While on the other hand, technology to develop and deploy weapons to blow incoming ICBMs out of the sky are easy to come by."

I am still procrastinating.
Evhead has a nice link to FuckedWeblog none of the major sites that I read have disappeared lately except for LEMONYELLOW which is the site that started my interest in weblogs all those years ago. Also at trippyswell Angela (Spacegirl) hasn't been posting much lately but I think that is because of Katbot and ABC.
Oh well, syntheticzero and onfocus and shut your mouth.... are still strong.
Its not like I have been posting anything of import in the last month.

Been back in Boston since Friday. I had a good vacation but now it is time to find a job and get on with my life. I will be doing some work on the site over the next few weeks. I will also be working on cutillo.org, which as of now just fowards to this site, but i will be putting up a family site on it.
On saturday it was "The 3rd Annual Lucky Pokerfest" at my friend Harry's house. I was up $83 so I am happy, better to be up then down.
Well off to work I go, but before that: Pataki is looking at using renewable energy in NY.

Christ, my cousin's computer is a mess. And of course I have to be the one to try and fix it. She is using Netzero as her internet service. What a mess that is.
I'm going to be here for awhile.
I really won't be posting anything of interest until I get back to Boston.

Well here I am at home, using my laptop for the first time in awhile. I for got how slow a 24 kbaud hookup can be. I am also watching the Rep Joe Moakley funeral service on C-Span.
Not much to say, having a good time on this "vacation".
Just finished Underground. I think I will start The Vintage Book of Amnesia next.
