9:30 PMBeen busy for the past month, so even though I may have had the chance to post, I stayed on topic and worked on my project, my room, and my life.
I QUIT my job.
It was becoming a bigger hassle than I could handle. I just can't stand Lisa's managerial style. It is the I'll_stay_in_my_office_and_you_will_be_my_little_minion and everyonce_in_a_while_I_will_come_down_from_up_high and seek_out_those_who_work_for_me_and_belittle_them, type of managerial style. It just doesn't work at a college bookstore. I would be belittled, the people I supervised would be belittled and the ask me what the hell is going on, ugh I couldn't stand to be in the store with her. So instead of transfering to another department I quit. Tim, general manager, was not happy, but I told him that I needed to focus on my schoolwork so that I can graduate this May. I also went off on Lisa and the general atmosphere at the store but who knows what might happen. I don't really care. There are not that many people left in the store that I care about, just a few, and i hope that things get better for them cause some of them have been there for a long-long time, 15-20 years.
So I have been working on my final design project alot lately and it seems to be going along well but.....
My first weekend off where I wasn't taking vacation time in like 5 years so what do I do? I clean. Exciting, but at least I can see the floor. I'll be posting more often now, so my 1 or 2 faithfull readers (if that many) stay tuned.
